I am beginning to look at a new Ram 1500 to replace my 2019 Ram. In looking at few, I have noticed on the window sticker some have a line item "MyFlex Care Service" $225. These trucks have the 10 yr 100,000 mile powertrain limited warranty. The trucks that don't have that listed do not list the 10 year warranty on the sticker. Does the $225 actually buy that warranty? If so, that seems like a no brainer! Can I add the 10 year warranty for the $225? Thanks for any info

i do my own oil changes but i almost paid for a oil change they wanted over a 100 bucks that, was a hard pass. so if that even covers 2 oil changes and a tire rotation it's worth every penny.

Like mentioned above. The MyFlex Care ($225) is for 2 oil changes and tire rotation in two year period.

Reason the ‘26’s do not have the 10/100,000 miles drivetrain printed on the Maroni sticker is because it ‘s only for original owner. Reverts back to the 5/60,000 miles if sold to second owner within warranty period.

There can be issues with these plans. The plan covers up to a set amount for each service. For example, say $75 for an oil change. Any costs exceeding that amount may be charged to the customer at the dealer's discretion. So I had some oil changes on my Wrangler and the dealer where I purchased the Wrangler honored them with no additional charges. Was on a road trip and had another dealer do an oil change and tire rotation. They give me a bill for the "additional costs". Needless to say I was not happy however the dealer pointed out the fine print in the contract. Not saying the plans are bad, just be aware of the limitations in them.

I just received The My Flex Care Plan docs. It is for 2 oil changes and 2 tire rotations. At the end of the document it says you can request a refund of your $225 if you haven't used it for anything .

You are correct. In fine print it says may have additional charges. I do all my own basic maintenance.
