I drive a 2020 5.7 1500 with an E-Torque. The bearing on the e-torque went bad at 77k. Part was on back order until June. I ordered the bearing and rebuilt it myself. Now when I start my truck it reads 14.2-14.7 volts. As soon as I give it heavy acceleration like merging on to a highway. The voltage drops to 12.5 and continues to drop as if the alternator isn’t working, but when I shut the truck off and restart voltage goes back up to 14.6. Happens every time within the first mile of driving. Any thoughts?
