I just got my 2019 1500 Limited back from a month at the dealer for a couple of issues. A couple of exhaust parts needing to be replaced and most pressing, fixing the microphone that sends commands to the UConnect. This is the 3rd or 4th attempt to get this problem resolved over the last 2 years. To re-cap...one day I was unable to talk to Siri while my iPhone is plugged in. She will initially answer me but when prompted to tell her what to text or what to look up, she can't hear me. Neither can the built in UConnect voice command. I thought it was a software issue with my phone. Ive tried at least 4 different models, swapped the cables, pushed updates and talked with the UConnect help line. The dealer has changed out my 12" head unit twice now and on this trip, replaced the microphone in the rearview mirror. My service advisor checked that it worked and I went and picked it up. If the phone is not plugged in, then it works via bluetooth, but plugged in, she can't hear me. Again, neither can the UConnect on-board voice command. My service advisor verified that it doesn't work, said there were no UConnect updates and told me he was going to start a Star report. Anyone have any thoughts?
