Ram 1500 bts edition 2020 with 1000 miles:
I had vibration issues:
1. random vibration: felt light vibration not in specific speed range. Sometimes at really low speed, sometimes at 45+.
2. vibration at high speed +70
Reactions past 4 weeks:
1. replaced tires from Falken wild peak to Goodyear: reduced vibration a little bit.
2. road force wheel balancing (Hunter elite): 1st trial reduced some vibration at high speed but noticeable vibration was still there. 2nd trial reduced a lot at high speed but random vibration was still there.
3. disconnecting ATMM: random vibration gone. sometimes in 4 cylinder mode I could feel very very light vibration in the steering wheel around 45mph (without putting gas) but not happened when I turned off MDS. In past 3 week this ATMM disconnection didn't give any serious issues. In my previous Ram 2017, this was not there so I think it should be fine. It looks if tire or wheel gives vibration, MDS involved in and worsening the situation.
4. tightened bed cover (Tiger brand): I tried to make sure there is no gap or hole between the cover and bed. light vibration at really high speed (80+) almost gone.
5. wheel alignment (Hunter 3D): high speed vibration gone almost 99%. Driver front wheel was off alignment - surprised to see it in this brand new car.
