Very confused...2023 ram 1500 BLIS in tail light question

I'm very confused. I needed a replacement tail light. My 2023 ram 1500 has led tail lights. I gave my vin to the dealership parts counter and they stated that my truck has the blind spot sensor (BLIS), so that is the option I ordered from recon. They get here and when I removed my factory lights, they do not have them in the tail lights. The factory lights are solid plastic with no module (recon lights have the cutout for the module). If my vin says they are supposed to have this option, why dont my factory lights have the module or even the cutout for it? (Mind you, this truck is new to me so I dont know a whole lot about it yet)

I would try running your vin here

and see if blind spot sensor (BLIS) are listed

remove "yourvinhere" and put your vin in

Thank you. I will check that. Do they make a blocking plate I can put in the new tail lights so I dont have to wait to exchange them and pay their 20% restocking fee?
