2024 Ram Limited. Upper glovebox light started having a delay in activation when i would open the upper glove box door. Couldn't be easier to fix.
1. Pop off passenger upper HVAC vent by gently pulling straight out towards you. On mine i held the little crossbar that separates upper static vent from lower movable portion. Then slowly and carefully worked fingers around edge.
2. With vent out of way you’ll see little metal switch arm at back right side of glovebox. The upper glovebox door has a cam that allows the metal arm to pull away from switch which activates light.
3. Using your finger pull that metal lever out ever so slightly.
4. Test and repeat until light comes on as it should.
5. Push vent back in and go have a beer.

Also installed lower glovebox light. Ordered part on Amazon. There is little cover where it should go( shown in pictures, pop cover and plug it in. The plug is there already.
