Howdy,
First post to the forum. I just bought a '23 Ram 1500 CC with Big Horn Lvl 1 trim(Uconnect 5 w/8.4" touchscreen). It has cloth upholstery with heated front seats and driver's seat is power. I have an opportunity to upgrade to Laramie leather seat but have questions on feature upgrades and wiring. The Laramie front seats are both Power/Heated/vented. I have an 8.4" touchscreen but comfort controls are limited to enabling/disabling the Auto seat heater.
Questions:
1. Will the existing wiring support all those features without physical modification?
2. Can a dealership turn on the control features for the vented seats?
3. Is the reclining rear seat a direct install or are physical modifications required?

Thanks,
Thaine, KS

1. Don't know, but you can use search.

2. Absolutely not. You will need to do it using AlfaOBD or JScan.

3. As long as you have all the hardware, yes.

the reclining rear seats have a different cab wall connection, they also fold down with a pull string on the back of the seat. non reclining seats have a hook on the cab. not a direct fit on the rear.
