Ordered a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie on April 28 to replace my 2008 Ram 1500. The order went to D1 status two days ago on June 9. This is my first time ordering a vehicle from the factory.

Congrats on the order. Looks like we are about on the same track, order progress-wise. I ordered a Laramie on April 29th, and just heard yesterday that the parts were gathered. My dealer told me today that it is scheduled to be built July 1st.

It looks like we have similar orders except mine is Delmonico Red with bench seat and towing package. Order went to D1 status on June 9...hopefully will arrive in early July.

Early July would be great. Mine has to be shipped to me once it arrives to the dealer, so I would be happy with anytime in July to be honest. This is my first factory order as well, can't say that I love the wait.
But it is great to get exactly what I want, especially since there are a lot of different options and configurations. My wife's car is an Acura MDX that we bought off the lot. Not a lot of decisions to made buying that car. Pick one of three trim levels, and 2wd vs. AWD. Other than that, only other decision I remember was the color.
Are you trading in your 2008? Nice to be selling a used truck right now, market is insane.

We actually sold them the 2008 Ram on the day that we placed the order, they just cut us a check because they wanted the truck for their used inventory. Yesterday we sold them our 2015 Cadillac XTS4 as well. My wife quit driving in April so we decided that insuring two "daily use" vehicle plus my 1998 Corvette did not make sense. Until the new truck arrives we will be using the Corvette for grocery shopping and whatnot. We did get an excellent price for the truck, the Cadillac did not hold its value as well.
When we ordered our truck they said it would be July or August so early July is great.
