I just recently received an unlocked PCM to go along with my DiabloSport I3 tuner. I followed the instructions to a "T" because I know how working on computers can be extremely finicky. After installation, I backed up the previous factory settings on the new PCM and began applying my first tune. After I received the completed tune notification, I started scrolling through my settings, re-personalizing everything. I noticed that my "Brake settings" button was gone, which allowed me to turn off ABS and put my brakes into "service mode." I also quickly realized that my heated and vented seats only show high/low mode. In contrast, before, I had high/medium/low, and the physical button functionality for my air conditioning/environmental control temperature no longer works. Even the digital buttons are very finicky on the control screen and do not operate as they did before.
Does anyone have experience with these issues? Was there a fix?
To me, unlocked PCM may not have all the correct software loaded. My concern is if some of that software is incorrect, what other software is wrong that I'm not seeing? I'm going to be giving technical support a call on Monday to see if they can help identify the issue. Does anyone know how to revert everything and reinstall my factory PCM to ensure everything is running normally until this issue is resolved?
