UNIDEN R4 install today

Installed the UNIDEN R4 today running with the R4 companion app. I used the UNIDEN hard wire with mute button along with the PAC CH-12PWRH acc power T harness. Moved the f54 fuse to the acc position. Mounted with the BlendMount BNR-2001R. I rarely ever speed, my choice for installing this is for situational awareness, and I needed something to do lol

Wow, I've not heard the Uniden name since the 90's. Had no idea they were still around.

Here is an alternative location to the common mirror mount. I mounted my V-1 in the pocket on the dash. The mount was actually made for my 2017 GMC Canyon. It was done by a custom audio shop when I was still in California. It fits perfectly. All I did was to drill a 3/16 hole in the bottom of the pocket and wired it direct to the 12v plug's wiring. It's much cleaner than using a plug and I still have access to the plug. Fuse was moved so it's ignition on only. Sorry about the picture quality but I was shooting directly into the sun.
