Installed the UNIDEN R4 today running with the R4 companion app. I used the UNIDEN hard wire with mute button along with the PAC CH-12PWRH acc power T harness. Moved the f54 fuse to the acc position. Mounted with the BlendMount BNR-2001R. I rarely ever speed, my choice for installing this is for situational awareness, and I needed something to do lol IMG_4663.jpeg IMG_4662.jpeg IMG_4657.jpeg IMG_4655.jpeg IMG_4654.jpeg

Wow, I've not heard the Uniden name since the 90's. Had no idea they were still around.

Here is an alternative location to the common mirror mount. I mounted my V-1 in the pocket on the dash. The mount was actually made for my 2017 GMC Canyon. It was done by a custom audio shop when I was still in California. It fits perfectly. All I did was to drill a 3/16 hole in the bottom of the pocket and wired it direct to the 12v plug's wiring. It's much cleaner than using a plug and I still have access to the plug. Fuse was moved so it's ignition on only. Sorry about the picture quality but I was shooting directly into the sun.
