I started getting flaky satellite radio for the last week or so. Reset radio and everything would work for a drive or 2 then come back. Same symptoms as some had last summer when they pushed an app. It got to where a reset wasn't bringing it back anymore and went ahead and factory reset my unit. Still no sxm at all. Can't tune to any sxm channel, doesn't show radio id in the settings, and all settings are greyed out.
Went ahead an downloaded t27.46 and tried to "update" (already on t27.46) and it almost goes through to the end and states sxm-sdar wrong parameter. I did have travel link set to yes and changed it back to no - same error at end of update.
I'm at a loss and can't find anything like this when searching. My next guess is the antenna, but would that cause me to not be able to log in sxm on the radio and not be able to get the radio id to show?
The sxm is built into the radio, not an extra module correct?
TIA

You can call SXM and have them resend the signal but you need your radio ID . Doesn’t sound like that’s the problem but it’s free if it works .

I logged in on my phone and sent a refresh signal. I doubt that's it.
I know connected services is working because i can see my correct fuel level and what not.
I recently did the amplifier anc bypass and the battery was also low when this started (truck had a slow start from sitting with my dashcam running)
I'm hoping someone knows why my update won't finish. I think I might revert all my alfaobd settings I've adjusted, factory reset and try again

I've reverted all alfaobd changes and factory reset my radio 3 times in a row. No satellite, everything else seems to work. Trying the firmware update 1 last time. Any ideas? Would the SXM have anything to do with the anc bypass harness?

If you are still under warranty, get the dealership involved. I think you’ll need a new radio. 2018 Jeep GC Summit, radio lost satellites on navigation. Dealership tried to “update” the radio. NG Radio replaced under warranty. 2023 HellCat, (when new) navigation was showing 800 miles off. Radio replaced by dealership. Lastly new 2025 Jeep GC Summit, no SiriusXM when we picked it up. Salesman said, oh you need to drive it so it can pick up the Satellite reception. I thought, no way, not my first rodeo. Anyway, refresh signal sent from SiriusXM, they could see my radio should be receiving. Nope. Turned out the antenna was bad. Replaced, all good.

Found out after I purchased that Canadian warranty didn't transfer to the US. Only 17k miles on it, 2022. Next step is fishing for antenna connectors to make sure they're connected all the way. Not being able to login or go to the settings is making me think this is software related. Hoping there's something I can change or modify to make my radio take the update. SXM programming, recovery mode... idk
