Hello, I'm confused with the different app things needed to enable remote start from my phone on my 21 Ram. When I bought my truck it came with 1 year trial with the UConnect app that would start/lock/unlock... my truck from my phone. I've been thinking about enabling the phone functionality again for 2-3 months over the winter only.
I looked it up last night and I want to be sure I'm going down the right path. The UConnect app on my phone says it's been disabled and I need to download the RAM app, I've done that, but it says I need to call Sirius XM Guardian to have them enable this. Is this the right path?
Also, if I call them to enable the app features, how difficult will they make it to cancel in a couple months? I've had not so pleasant experiences with Sirius XM in the past and am frankly not crazy about giving them any more money.
