I have a 2025 1500 Laramie with the 12" Uconnect radio. Had the truck for a year now and the Sirius channel or FM station was always displayed in the upper status bar. Now I have the App store icon in that place. How do I get rid of that icon?

Part of a Mamatha Chamarthi's ploy to sell us crap through our infotainment systems before she was forced to leave Stellantis. Some of us (the lucky ones) open it, let it load, then close it, and it stays away. For many, including myself, it may go away temporarily after doing that, but it always comes back. It was that way on my 2023 TRX and is the same way on my 2025 Tungsten. I have just learned to ignore it now.

If you touch it it will open the App Store and then you can select something else to get rid of/close the app store. The icon should now be gone (until next time you start your truck and you get to do it again...). Thats how it works on mine.
Frustrating to have multiple button presses daily to remove the icon in order to use they system as it was intended. Have contacted the deal and Ram cares regarding this with no solution. Give us an option to turn this off!
