UConnect 8.4 w/NAV having issues

Is there anyone else out there that is having issues with there NAV not working correctly? I live in Alabama it reflects me as being up in Pennsylvania somewhere. When I go into the GPS-Nav and check for signal strength it reflects NONE. Here is the weird part, I get Sirius XM Reception and when i disconnect the cable in the back of the radio it goes away which tells me the Antenna is good as well as the cabling coming into the Radio. Now when Im driving I can watch the GPS lat long although wrong changing lock step with me driving as well as direction (although wrong). I went to the dealer and they want the truck for a few days to troubleshoot and cant offer me a rental. (COVID) has messed up there stock of rentals he says. Its under warranty but i only have 1 vehicle and I am thinking this is a software issue. I purchased this truck second hand and it had 14,500 miles on it its now at 23,000 miles. I dont have any of the subscriptions for the vehicle ie.. Sirius, 4G etc.. Im told the GPS should work free of charge without subscribing to any service. The fact it works but doesnt again looks almost like its in need of a software flash. Anyone else out there experiencing anything like this?

Main reason I didn’t go with Nav, is Apple Airplay works perfect with Google Maps app, and it saved me $$$

I have a 2019 Ram with the 8.4 screen. My navigation worked perfect for over a year. One day I was following the Nav and while in route to my location all of a sudden it showed me I was almost 100 miles from where I actually was located. The screen shows I am moving but at a far away location. I looked to see what satellites it was using and did not show any satellites at all. My nav has done this for over 6 months now. Been to dealer, I am up to date on updates, they say need to replace complete unit. I did call drive uconnect and they said tell the dealer to calibrate nav. dealer says no such thing as calibrating nav. I read on the Ram forum where some people drove in an open area clockwise and some drove counter clockwise over 5 times and this is supposed to reset the calibration. I did not have any luck doing that. Does anybody have any idea what I can try besides replacing the unit?

Unit needs to be replaced. Has an internal issue that can't be fixed in the field.

Same exact thing here, the radio is toast. USD 485.00 for a rebuild unit with a core or about 1300.00 with out.
I use waze, lot better than the factory navigation.
