2022 Laramie, Uconnect 5 with Nav.
Twice this week, when I started my truck, the splash screen showed “Updating” for several minutes and eventually the only thing that loaded was CarPlay. No other icons appeared on the screen. Couldn’t access Media, Comfort, Cameras, etc., just CarPlay.
The first time, I just shut the truck off and the next time I started it, an hour or so later, it was back to normal again.
The second time, a restart didn’t fix it, although I didn’t wait an hour this time. I had to do a soft reset (long press volume and tune knobs), and when it came up it was fine.
I’m hoping this doesn't become a trend. I tried to do an OTA software update but it didn’t seem to do anything.
