Tuffy Center Console Safe

just got my Tuffy 354. This is supposed to fit 19 and up 1500s and retain use of the factory slider. Well it doesnt.

Mounted per in structions, it is 1 inch too high I cut the bottom tabs off the front bracket, folded it up and drilled new holes. I also had to trim an inch off the back leg.

It fits good now and my slider works, but i waited 3 months for this thing because it was supposed to fit. Putting the word out, dont buy ghis product unless you want to do some modifications.

Is this for a longhorn or limited ?

Pretty sure the Limited and Longhorn trims have a deeper sliding tray. I know Lock'er Down has two different types. One for Limited and Longhorn, and one for the rest of the trims.

Just went to their site and read the fine print at the bottom. It says Will not work with consols that have doors on the cup holders ie Limited and Longhorn

Oh well they should read my post and make one..
