I picked up some TRX takeoffs today and figured I’d throw them on before my level just to see how bad the tire rub would be. I installed them with a 1/4” spacer to get the control arm clearance and it is still super tight. But surprisingly the only time I heard any rubbing was full lock backing into my driveway Other than that they don’t really rub. I’m assuming most of the rubbing is caused by the 1-2” spacers most people run with these. Either way I’ll be doing the level tomorrow and hopefully there’s a little more space with the aftermarket control arms. But figured someone might find this interesting.

Hi, thanks for the write up. I'm considering something similar. Are the 1/4" spacers still working out without any rubbing or vibration issues? Thanks!

Are these 35" tires on 18" wheels? hard to tell from the pics.

Fyi, Pulled the trigger and did TRX takeoffs and Carli commuter lift with 0.25" wheel spacer and there's enough clearance with the upper control arm.
