Hello everyone, My 2020 2500 with the 6.4L struggles to start, then won’t shut off. A little context my starter would stick and I would do the old hammer trick and it would start right up. Took it to get a smog check done and the mechanic quoted me $750 to change my starter. Later that night after the quote my truck would not start at all. Had to tow it home which luckily I was right around the corner. Replaced the starter thing that was it but when I tried to start it, the starter attempts to turn over, stops and then my dashboard turns into a Christmas Tree. While trying to shut it off the truck says it’s not in park and the shifter goes limp. I’ll try and post an update video showing the problem but for now all I did was disconnect the battery. Any ideas or help before I take it to a dealer?
