Truck is set up to bump the horn on the second push of the lock button on fob or door handle.
Used remote start before lunch, but when we got to the restaurant, the truck would not bump the horn.

Got back from lunch, and it is still set to bump the horn. Turned the feature off, turned the ignition off, and then turned the feature back on. Still no horn on lock.

Drove home, and still no horn on lock. Tested horn, it works as intended.

Anyone else have any ideas what it might be?

Well, I'll be snookered.
After checking this morning if it would honk on second press (it didn't) I set it to honk on first press.
Got to work...now it works on first press!

I'll try setting it back to second press after a couple key cycles.

Did you every figure this out. Mine stop honking this evening on the second push!

Mine has done this a couple times. The last time, I turned the ignition on (engine not running), turned the horn honk and passive entry off, then ignition off. Turned the ignition back on, turned the horn honk and passive back on, turned ignition off and locked the truck. Seemed to work, but it should not have to be done. There's a hiccup somewhere.

That's the first setting I turned off when I bought the truck lol.

Turn it off.
Key cycle.
Turn it to one click = honk
Key cycle.
Turn it to second click = honk

Mine just decided to go wonky the other day again. Not sure what causes it, but the only thing I did out of the norm was turn on the butt heater and hand warmer since i was cold.
