Wondering if anyone has had a problem with their truck not starting. I have a 2025 1500 with the 3.0 Hurricane SO engine. The other night I went to pick up my wife from work. Truck started no problem at home, drove 5 miles to where my wife works and turned off the truck while waiting for her to get out of work. Sat in the parking lot for about 15 minutes listening to the radio. When she came out the truck would not start. It would turn over no problem for about 15 seconds or so but not start. Tried to start it at least 5 times without success. Called my son to pick us up and waited about 20 minutes. When he got there I tried starting the truck again and it started without issue. No check engine light so I'm a bit perplexed as to why it wouldn't start initially. I did drop it off at the dealership to see if they could come up with a reason why this happened as this is definitely a bit concerning.

Please give us an update when available.

Talked with service today. Tech as so far been unable to replicate the issue which is not surprising because this was the only time that I've encountered an issue with the truck not starting since I purchased it in May of 2024. It's currently under 6000 miles. The service adviser did say there is a "star bulletin about this no start problem" and engineering is looking into it. My gut is telling me currently there is no resolution and I may have to deal with my truck not starting every 8 months or so 🙃

I might have been the location of your key fob, I’ve heard cellphones if close can mess with it, or maybe the fob has low battery?

I had a similar experience with my 25. Drove it about 10 miles and waited on my wife for about 10 minutes listening to the radio, went to start the truck and it tried to turn over and wouldn't. Called roadside assistance for a jump and walked down the street to a restaurant. 10 minutes later a guy showed up with a jumper box and it started right up. I told him to be ready for another call cause we had already ordered food. Drove it about a block shut it off and about 45 minutes came out and the truck started fine. Went to the dealer and they replaced both batteries. 2 weeks later the truck sitting in my garage is dead completely.

I had the same issue a couple of days ago in the Laramie I just bought. S/O Hurricane, just over 200 miles. I didn't find much about the issue. I assume it takes a while for the computer to reset something. I will just wait and try it in the morning... Have you had this issue happen anymore? Have you found out anything else about it?
The truck started just fine the next morning. I am curious just how long it would take for the system to reset itself, or if unhooking the battery for a couple of minutes would do the same thing. If ever it happens again, I will test this out. Meanwhile, I won't sit to listen to music or play with the system for more than a few minutes without the motor running. :)
