Those of you in cold weather areas have you installed an oil pan heater?
I’m stationed in Alaska and have extreme cold temps -40 degrees. I’ve installed a oil pan heater and a trickle charger for the battery and of course it has the engine block heater. I went to the install the trans pan heater and found that it’s the composite pan. I’m worried if I install a 100 watt heater it would melt the pan.
Sorry for the length of this post.
Thanks, Mike
