So, after the first start of the day (or after it sits for a while) when shifting from park to anything else, makes a pretty loud clunk. I'm not parked on a hill or anything, and it happens if I shift quickly after starting, and also when it sits idling for a few minutes... can't seem to get it to not do it after the first start.

Anyone else have this problem?

normally transmission do not do what you said,

it is usually a driveshaft u-joint, or something in the differential.

could happen, take it to the dealer, try to get a good sound bite of if doing it.
maybe put the recording device under the truck.
