I have a 2025 Ram Laramie with the hurricane SO. It has 3700 miles on it. I've had in the shop twice now for the same problem. The first time was because every time I used my turn signal the warning bell and lights would come on saying my trailer lights were not working or trailer connection or signals were not working. The shop cleared the code and it worked fine for about 6 weeks until now it's doing the same thing except it does it every time I hit the brakes. The shop said Chrystler is aware of the problem, and they would notify me when there is a fix. Until then I disconnected the power to the trailer electrical plug and problem solved as long as I don't need to pull a trailer. Anyone else have this problem and if so what were you told to do about it
Thanks for any input

Just curious, do you use a car wash regularly?

I've had the trailer warning light come on only once, immediately after using a touchless carwash. I've heard of others saying the same. Water gets in there and doesn't drain out I guess.

On my 2025 Tungsten EVERY time I hook up a trailer, weather it is a 4 pin flat or a 7 pin round, I get a notification to check trailer connection and a light is out. All the lights work correctly every time, but I still get a notification saying something is out. Annoying.

Don't expect a quick fix. I've been waiting a year and a half, for a fix, for gauges not working in the center stack. They work intermittently, and when they don't, they show metric readings that are blank. they were aware of the problem, before I got my truck. Still no fix.

Thanks for the response. No I do not use car wash facilities. I wash it by hand but maybe water is getting into something it shouldn't. I called Ram care and they opened a case to supposedly figure it out because I told them my next phone call would be to the states Attorney Generals office. This truck hasn't even had its first oil change yet.
