What are you guys using for a trailer hitch cover?

I'm trying to decide what to do, and would love to see some pics and options that people have done so far.

I would but lost mine in the car wash, lol I had it since my 09. Simple black rubber with a rams head on it.

That’s the one I have as well.

These used to be standard. Sad how everything becomes an extra option now.

Kept it simple. Excuse the water spots, had a little shower come thru the area today. A few bucks and its rubber, snug push in pull out simple but affective.

Isn't Amazon amazing, Ordered yesterday at 4:30 pm EST. Arrived today free shipping at 11:00 am. I feel sorry for the small buiness in this country. I try to stay local when I can. Seriously how can you compete? I was in buiness foe myself for over thirty years I can relate.

Doesn’t anyone actually tow trailers with their trucks anymore? Never understood a receiver plug.

Just looks. I tow a boat often but in-between if I could find a cool one for my now lousy but Super Bowl Champion Eagles, I’d probably buy it. :(

Actually, we buy out trucks to make people THINK we tow and haul stuff.

Seriously, I have two reasons. Since I don't tow all the time, I remove the ball and hitch to reduce weight (I keep it with the trailer) and 2) When backing up in a tight "city" parking spot, I don't worry about hitting someone's bumper with 10" of hitch.

As for the hitch cover, it gives the truck a cleaner look and, on the dirt road we live on, it keeps mud from accumulating in the receiver (how it gets there, I will never know--maybe the mud "jumps" into the receiver hitch?).

Just trying to bring this thread back to life
Anybody want to show off their fancy new hitch cover???
I am impatiently waiting the arrival of my new truck, and I'm convinced that ordering a new hitch cover will ease the wait :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I just keep a D ring shackle like 19Jake. Keep my 2" hitch in one of the storage boxes.
