Trailer brakes not connected

So I activated the brake controls with JScan on the dash and radio screen which comes up but when I connect my trailer it doesn’t recognize it and still says trailer brakes not connected. Am I missing something?

Not to be insulting, but you are using the 7 pin not the 4 pin, right?

Grab an ohmmeter and check the resistance on the trailer between brake and ground pins. Also check the trailer brake fuse, which should be F25, a big green 40A fuse.

Yes, you are and my 2022 has been doing this since 150 miles, and with any of my 5 trailers......you can contact me at 314-280-1656 and I will tell you your problem
