Trailer Brake Control

What all is included in the trailer brake control? Is it worth it? I won't be towing much, but if it'll help resale, I'm alright with keeping it. Along those lines, could I replace the controller with the blank panel for aux switches or something?

Yes it’s worth it if you do any towing with electric brakes. Having it integrated with the truck is so nice.

You get: Light Electric, Heavy Electric and also a trailer trip meter

Even if you aren't going to tow anything, the next owner might want to and having the TBC would be a plus. I do tow and had it added as my truck did not come with it. I think I paid $540 at the dealer for the part, installation and programming.

I checked and my bill for the TBC was $528.
