I'm swapping my 2020 Rebel's wheels for a used set of the Rebel Night Edition wheels/tires takeoffs that still have TPMS installed. My question is, how does the TPMS work? Will my truck just pick up on the new set of TPMS? If so, how does it know which tires is left/right/rear/front - are there sensors that tell the CPU? or do i need to swap my TPMS from my current tires on the the new set?

Sorry I'm sure this is a dumb question. But I'm dumb so please help lol

It took mine more like 50 miles before they synched up, but it eventually worked.

Does "mine" mean OEM or non OEM?
I've had 4 other sets of OEM tires/wheels with OEM TPMS and all my results were the same as Richard320 post #2.

They were OEM sensors in stock wheels. The sensors in the wheels I took off were aftermarket though. Maybe that had an effect on it.
