towing stuck in gear when brake applied

my 2022 limited was in tow mode when after 100 miles i applied the brake and when I started up the truck stuck in gear until I pulled over an turned it off and restarted.
anyone with similar experience.

Do you mean it downshifted when breaking and then stayed in the lower gear? IF so were you still going down hill?

no it stayed in a gear that was 4k rpms at 55 mph.
There is a ram notice to dealers that outline a number on problems with the tow feature and their engineers are looking at it.
In the interim they tell the dealers to tell the owners to not use the tow feature.
