Hey, all! I have a 2019 1500 Big Horn that I love. I recently got a 21' travel trailer that it pulls with ease, but now, with my stock mirrors, I can't see down the trailer. I've found some replacement mirrors that are flip-up tow mirrors...but they're more expensive than I want to pay (Dodge Ram 1500 Tow Mirrors (2019-2024)). Then, I found some clip-on mirrors that just attach to my stock mirrors when I need them (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QV9VX3D/ref=ewc_pr_img_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1), but they seem to have somewhat mixed reviews. What do you recommend and why?

I was in the exact same situation with my previous 2019. I went with the Boost mirrors and they did fine. Only complaint I had was much over 55mph with the mirrors extended and they started to vibrate pretty bad. Heard it was an issue with some, but not all.

Most recent vehicle required a tow mirror swap as well. Was able to find an OEM set for about that I paid for the Boost. If you keep an eye on the classifieds here and other areas around the web, you can luck up and fine some OEM take offs for a decent deal.

I've had those Boost Auto mirrors for about 4 years now no issues to speak of so far. For your case I'd say if you plan on towing the camper often I would bite the bullet and do the boost mirrors, but if you're towing rather seldomly and don't see yourself upgrading to a larger trailer then those clip on mirrors would probably do just fine.

I had a remote camera mounted to the back of my 24' TT. It's 12v so it works when the trailer is plugged in to the harness. It bluetooths to a monitor in the cab.

What's nice is you can adjust it so it acts as a rear view mirror or a traditional backup camera.

I use the clip ons for our 26' travel trailer and they work well.

I have those exact clip on mirrors for my truck and I love them. I also had a similar pair when I had my '19 Classic. You can't go wrong with them. They are hard to get on and off when you first get them but it gets easier after a few times. They don't move at all. I highly recommend them.
