So I put on my tow hooks today. And when I started to remove the bolt from the frame, water ( or what I thought was water) came leaking out.It was probably about a table spoon full. It happened on both the driver side and passenger side.
I picked the truck up on January 4th. I haven’t driven in rain or snow, and I haven’t washed it yet either. It’s literally been sitting in my garage since the day I brought it home.
My question is, why or how could water have gotten in there? Does Ram dip there frames in a solution prior to assembling?

Dealer probably washed it before you picked it up.

They did, but water would be in there for over a month?

Yes, kinda weird but that's all I got 🤷. My truck sits outside with frequent rain and once a week car washes and I didn't have any water when I removed the bolts to install my tow hooks. Little odd but def wouldn't let it keep you up at night.
