Tow Haul

What weight are you guys using the Tow/Haul button. I have an Allison bass boat and total weight is around 1800lbs. Is the tow/haul function really needed for this weight?

I don't use Tow/Haul with my bass boat and it weighs just a little more than yours. I have tried it both on and off and really see no difference. I towed a trailer that was between 4,000 and 5,000 lbs and noticed a difference then; but my Bass boat doesn't really seem to make a difference.
