Can anyone tell me the torque spec for the exhaust pipe flange bolts? I'm going to be installing the Borla S-Type cat-back on my truck this weekend. The Borla installation guide lists a 35 ft-lb spec for the clamps, but I can't find a spec anywhere for the two flange bolts that connect the stock exhaust extension pipe to the muffler.

Just make em tight.
It's not like they are going to unscrew on you.
I didn't torque anything to spec for my Borla, I wasn't about to use a torque wrench while lying on my back under my truck.

Three ugha dughas should just about do it
Yeah I was thinking two or three, but I'll err on the high side. :ROFLMAO:

My main concern was really over-torque after seeing reports of snapped bolt heads, but reading more it seems like most of those issues occurred due to corrosion during removal as opposed to installation. I'll just get 'em tight.

Yeah, most of the exhaust problems are extreme heat and cooling with rust/corrosion being part of it. Just get them tight and you'll be fine
