I’m doing an oil change today. In the past, I have just guessed at how tight the drain plug should be. Well, I bought a torque wrench the other day so I want to tighten it properly. Anyone have a chart with torque specs?

Torque settings change if a lubricant is applied as explained below.

An educated "guess/feel" may be just as good and possibly better than a torque wrench. My BMW motorcycles require a fresh washer with a torque setting for each change. I always question the accuracy of the torque as it is very difficult to pretty much impossible to cleanse the fittings of the oil.
