Just picked up my 22 Limited after I got tired of waiting for my order to come in. Already have a appointment for the windows and pano roof to be tinted. Kind of undecided where to go with mods after that. Don’t think I want to touch the exhaust. Spent the last 10 years with loud cars lol. Not looking to change wheels or tires right now. I’ll wait till I knock some tread off the new tires. I see the Hellwig sway bar seems to be popular on here. Truck seems pretty tight stock especially with the air ride. What would you guys suggest next?

Something may have changed on the stock sway bar from 21 to 22 on the air suspension also, but I have not been able to get 100% confirmation. So I’ve held off on the Hellwig so far. Pedal Monster or Pedal Commander or any throttle body electronic module seems to be also pretty popular/fun. Ceramic tint all the way around is something I do to all my vehicles as soon as I get them also. Makes a huge difference in summer.

I have a 22 and the Hellwig absolutely made a major difference. It was like night and day. The stock bar was junk. I don’t have air suspension though so that may be why. Maybe they have a better bar. My Back Country has a slightly raised ride height too so that may have had something to do with it as well.

Helwig is just one of those mods that you don’t think will actually make a difference until you get it. When you feel the stock bar vs the Helwig you understand why it makes such a difference.

To answer your question about top 5 mods I’d say in no particular order:

1. Front windows tinted to match
2. Helwig
3. Backflip x4s (tonneau cover)
4. Floor liners
5. Exhaust

If we removed tires and tint from the choices then

Bed cover
Bed extender - usefull to keep things from rolling to the back and for extra bed space
Screen protector
Level struts
wheel spacers - didn't like the tuck in tire look with the fender flares and like the BTS wheel too much to change wheels

Any bed cover and wheel spacers you would recommend?

It will absolutely make a night & day difference with standard coil suspension. The air suspension setup does have a beefier sway bar. Not as beefy or heavy as the Hellwig but it all has to so with spring tension really.

I had the bakflip mx4 on my 4th gen and would 100% recommend that of you are looking for a trifold, it doesn't cover the 3rd brake light and they are runing a rebate right now.
I wanted to give it try on the revolver roll up also bak industries but i got a steal on a roll up with a canister. The canister takes about 12 inches but the deal was way too good to pass.
Spacers decided to go with what many consider gold standard, bora wheel spacers. More expensive than other brands.
The most important thing when it comes to spacers make sure these are hub centric

Decided to go with these as my first 5 mods.
Tint 5% on all the doors, rear window & panoroof.
Bora wheel spacers. 1.25” front 1.5” rear
Painted mirror caps
Edge Pulsar
Hellwig rear sway bar. Going to make this the last one to see if it’s even needed after putting in some more miles.

Please let me know on the sway bar!

I’ve also been tinting the full windshield lightly 50-60% with ceramic & now I have to do it on all my vehicles - makes such a huge difference in cooling the vehicle & the sun hitting your hands & legs in the summer. Although I’d you ever consider that I will say to DEFINITELY call around and specifically ask tint shops their experience & polo non tinting the windshield on the 5th gen Ram. Some in this forum as well as local to me have had bad experiences if the installer gets any of those sensors wet & the truck won’t start or cause damage. I take it to a shop where they fully tint Rams all the time & have had zero issues with both the 21 I had & the 22.

I can’t do tint on the windshield lol. First time I did it was on my 300 SRT, 50% on the windshield and I could not see anything at night. Lasted 2 weeks and had it removed. I have a hard time seeing at night with no tint lol.

Yep, then definitely do not add! Lol I was hoping that 60% was an option, maybe even 70% but it wasn’t at this shop. They do have a clear ceramic windshield tint if you wanted to limit the UV on the dash/skin. I have baby eyes & squint on a cloudy day but at night can see fine minus oncoming & rear view mirror headlights so I opted for the tint. Every time I go past a truck with like 5% all the way around plus a windshield tint though, I’m like how do you see at night?! For my eyes, my tint is at the threshold - as I get older though I might have to opt for the windshield removal & go clear ceramic.

Has anyone done a headlight assy replacement on a limited. I would like to find something brighter and also the fog lights.

The Limited & Longhorn Limited have the brightest stock lights out of the other trims. It might be better/easier & definitely cheaper without the worry of electrical issues to consider looking at the Shifts & Grins thread on here regarding his brackets & different light bars you can add behind the center front grill with the sensors. It retains the sensors, you just replace the grill with a see-through version instead of solid. Awesome setup, very bright.

Most people like the Baja Designs fog light replacement, but personally I’m going with the amber light bar from Shifts & Grins/Diode Dynamics & keeping the orange fog covers from Lamin-x so that it all looks uniform & functions properly for fog where I live. For me it will function & look the way I want & be the least expensive & easiest to wire.

Tint the Pano? I guess i understand, but is the a popular thing to do? Getting my front windows done this week, but never considered the roof glass.

I don’t know if it’s a popular thing to do, but I’ve done it on by my last 2 vehicles

That’s what the electric sun shade is for. Unless I have the roof open the shade is always closed.

Doesn’t the pano already have a factory tint?🤔

Yes, it does. If I went with a sunroof the second time I would still probably lay more tint over the factory sunroof tint just like I did the rears. I’d just like it to be darker for visual preference (still too bright with only factory tint for me) & to jeep some of the UV out. It was bright enough for me that I only kept the interior shade open at night really. I have baby eyes though. Lol
