Hey guys looking at getting a new cover. I am looking at these two. Any opinions or experiences with either would be appreciated. Also any one who has a similar cover, do the attachment clips interfere with the utility rails at all?

I have the Undercover Armorflex. Very pleased with it so far. It's pretty heavy-duty, has a surface similar to spray-in bed-liner (scratch-resistant), allows you to open/close the tailgate freely, and seems to keep water out very effectively. Not to mention a 5-year warranty. I don't have the utility rails and did not install it myself, so I can't comment on that.

I think you will be pleased. Of course mine is not the ultra flex, so I can't speak specifically to that model, but this is my 2nd Undercover product...had a 1 piece hard cover on my Tacoma for about 10 years and it was very reliable.

Install took the shop about an hour...about as long as it took me to go get breakfast. I actually got to see both the Armorflex and BakFlip in person and how they operate at the store where I purchased. I think either of those would have been a good decision, but there were a couple of factors that convinced me to get the Undercover.

Have not installed any bed lighting yet, but I definitely want to! Too many "want to's" at this point!!

Thank you for ur honesty..

On my last 2 RAMs I had Bakflip which IMO are overpriced junk. The finish started to come off them after a year or so, they have a tin/ aluminum appearance, they scratch and dent easy, when in the open position it leans against the back of the cab and the hooks (stowed position) for the prop rods are crap.

I have the ArmorFlex and it seems pretty durable. As shaveman noted it has the Linex (Premium) coating which makes it scratch and dent resistant. It also has a flat rich black appearance. It seems pretty durable and I've been happy with it so far. I installed it myself in less than 30 minutes.

Thanks guys. Yeah I’m leaning toward the undercover armorflex. I’m just hoping the clips don’t get in the way of the utility rails.
