Pretty much. There are some tweaks, but they don't help much. I finally gave up on it, and went Android Auto with Google maps.

Ive been using my tomtom maps more and more, saves my phone a lot of juice. Honestly my only two gripes are that updating it is cumbersome and I haven’t successfully done it yet. Also that i cant change or alter my destination while driving. There is no override or passenger interaction allowance or anything ive found.

I used Garmin products before navigation became integrated, so I guess, I've never been a Tom Tom fan. I had used the integrated navigation in my last three vehicles, but this setup in the Ram didn't impress me. I could never get it to my liking. I had never used Android Auto until this vehicle.

The customizations just seemed lacking, and the GUI reminded me of an older computer operating system. Not a modern look to it. I could do a lot more with the Garmin that I've missed for a long time. The customized vehicles and sounds were a hobby. Changing the location pointer to my actual vehicle and color entertained me. The wiring clutter associated with the external GPS units was a nuisance, so I was excited about integrated nav and gave up the Garmin.

Can't get the full screen with gm.

Sure you can, have a read here. Any map, full screen.
