To those that have removed the AAD

and/or the hard plastic air dam, did you install any type of skid plate? Would the one from a rebel/trx fit?

This is discussed in the other threads about AAD removal. The short answer is no. I was going to make a debris shield for mine, but I traded in my truck last weekend. I may still make one for the wife's truck, but she's not concerned about it. I removed her AAD more than 2 years ago and there have been no issues so far. So she's not overly concerned about it.

I do not believed that you can fit the trx or rebel.
As far as my last research there isn't anything on the market that fits a oem bumper as a direct bolt on
Eventually I will make my own like I see a few other here have done.

I would like to get something, but I don't think the rebel/trx one would work since the bumper without it is shaped like a pretend rebel skid plate. Interested to see if you find anything. Closest I found was an australian company that made one for the DS for $1800.

I consolidated my vehicles. The wife and I both had Limiteds, and we definitely don't need two trucks. So I traded in my Limited and my 2010 Audi for a 2021 Audi A4 S-Line with the black optics package.

lol that is still plenty expensive, did the calculation out of curiosity, around $1200 USD
