Hey guys,

I've adjusted for tire size using the help of this forum. Everything seems to be good, no codes no check engine ligh. BUT i'm wondering if the truck is doing something different when the ignition is placed in "run" without starting the truck. I never paid attention to what the truck did previous to this.

When I cycle to run I hear multiple consecutive chimes with seat belt and check engine light showing. I think thats normal but after the initial changes there is a pause then 1 chime. Pause, then 2nd chime and check engine light flashes. Pause then 3rd chime, check engine goes back to solid and seat belt light is still showing. After that there is no more activiry and I can start the truck without issue and the check engine light goes out.

In one set of instructions I used, it says to go to "ABS Initialization" read the instructions then hit "Start." When I go to "ABS Initialization" the start button is greyed out. I did one time only manage to go through the process where the start button was red but being able to run the Initialization before the other steps did not change the potential issue mentioned above. I found another set of instructions that leaves out the "ABS Initialization" step and just directs you to go straight to the steps given.

I can't remember what the truck did before tire size change, I never had payed attention in any detail when I turned the ignition to run without starting.

Am I good? I've adjusted tire size multiple times now and have it spot on with no other issues. No codes, no glitches, nothing.

Thanks for the help.

Can anyone confirm what your truck does after turning to accessories without starting? Chimes, flashing check engine light?

Any help very much appreciated.
