More pics of the lights, wiring and better pics of the finished tips...Aluma-Hyde (happy coincidence it has a Ram on the can) is some tough stuff. I've used it on many projects over the years, from firearms, wheels, exhaust and it has performed flawlessly. Guys with the BTS trucks, look into the different colors they offer, would look good to do in "match" color matte tips...Just a thought.
The lights I bought on Amazon here------> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07847SGY9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I like those extra reverse lights. The factory ones are not very bright. I thought of doing something like you did just didnt think of putting them behind the bumper.

I'll get a night pic and of the backup cam, they work very well. I used Curt 56584 for the wiring and a 5 pin trailer pigtail (male) and used the blue (reverse) and white (ground).

A couple questions- What color wires did you splice into in the tail light housing or did you wire these to a switch so you have to turn them on each time you back up? They look great, nice job!

Thank you Sir...I used the Curt 56584 harness and a 5 pin (w/ reverse hot +blue wire). Detached the factory 7 pin plug insert the Curt, then attach the factory plug into the Curt. The Curt comes with 5 pin female, so you need to buy the 5-way male pigtail, then use the blue (+ hot reverse) and white (- common ground) and attach the red to blue, black to white and plug it in. When you place the gear selector in R (reverse) the lights will come on.
Or...You can splice into the factory 7 pin. The "7" (center) pin would be the reverse light +, and the "1" (7 o'clock position) would be ground. See attached. From lights, red to 7, black to 1.

Push in the silver tabs on both sides and push plug toward the rear of the truck to pop it out. Press the tab on the back and displace the plug from the connector.

Perfect thank you so much for the info. I like this set up so I think I'll be doing the same.

Not sure...I mounted them to the Closeout Panel part number 68298538AB (pictured above). I had to be deliberate in placement so everything would clear, equally spaced and had to take a good bit of time fitting them on the panel. I had to remove the bumper in order to get the panel out. I'm not familiar enough with the multi-function tailgate version to tell you, I'm happy to assist if I can, but all I have to go by is my own truck.
