Yes, perfectly normal, up to 230F in everyday driving is normal for either. But in normal driving, coolant temp will typical stay around 220F, oil a bit higher. Heavy towing, it can get up to 270F for the oil temp, 255 for the coolant.
Modern engines like to stay in the 220F - 230F coolant range for the best mpg and emissions.
My truck typically runs at 206°. About a month ago it would get up to 225° and would spew coolant from under the radiator cap. Replaced the cap and temps have remained no higher than 206°.
