I really want to have the service manual information for my Ram, but Tech Authority doesn't seem inclined to sell the full USB anymore. Instead they want everyone to buy the "subscription". So does anyone on here actually have a subscription, and can you tell me how good or bad is it? And would it be possible, for example, with a concerted effort to download "everything" over a period of days or weeks to put on a thumb drive and take with me to places that don't have Internet?

Last year, I bought that flimsy little USB for my 2020. I tried copying it to my PC hard drive to avoid breaking that tiny plastic piece of junk every time I want to use it, but it will not open from the hard drive. "Can't find USB" or some such error. Did they sabotage that flimsy little USB against moving it to another platform??

Of course they did. Some kind of encryption or copy protection is routine on such things. As if there is anything on it worth protecting...
