Tailgate release not working intermittent 2021 Ram 1500 Sport

Hi,
Im having intermittent issues with the tailgate releasing and has got to the point it might take me 5 minutes to get it open. I think i have put it down to the right hand side not releasing always. Has anyone had this issue before?
