So I went to the car wash last night and this morning my tailgate was frozen shut. Not a huge deal but it would not budge and the truck thinks the tailgate is open and the interior lights would not turn off. Is thier a way to manually override them so I'm not driving around with the interior lights on?

Chances are theatch is stuck open, which is why it's showing the tailgate is open. When it thaws, or even vibrations from driving might cause tailgate to drop while driving. If you have a torch, might try warming up the latch areas to thaw it out. And don't get car washes during winter when it's below freezing, unless you park in a garage.

Open up the access panel on the inside of the tailgate where there are about 8 torques screws. And you can manually unlock the latches for the tailgate.

That would work If I could get into the bed but with the tonneau cover it is locked. I'm just going to wait for it to thaw out now.
