I saw the post about the little shock that actuates the tailgate lets it open and close easy but what I'm after is that metal bracket there in the photo let me know if you can get it by itself or if anybody has any experience. Spent 30 minutes with Dodge trying to find it on their diagrams and they did not have it.

I’m curious if you’ve found that part. I’m currently having issues with my tailgate. It’s completely seized up and won’t open or close without a lot of force. I replaced the shock but even with it detached it barely opens/closes. Today a piece of the ‘c’ shaped bushing broke off from the force of me trying to open it. Looks like that entire bracket in the pic might be welded to the body. Not sure if it’s worth going to the dealership or a collision repair shop. Let me know what you’ve found out on your end. My truck is 2019 Ram 3500 diesel. 👍🏻

Several sources out there for the lower bracket/hinge. Upper one is part of the bed, welded to it.
