stupid rebel oil change question

how much harder is it to change the filter on the 22 5.7 rebel then a 5.7 gen 4 laramie ? ton of snow / ice on the ground and i cant really crawl under there to find the filter. have 600 miles on it, anyone know the factory fill oil ? how soon can i switch to synthetic ?

There is an oil change compilation in this thread. This will get you started with information. Many have had a hard time getting the oil filter off the first time. I chose to have the dealer do the first for that reason. It is mentioned about warming up the vehicle and that assisted with the removal of the filter.
