I've enjoyed my 2019 Ltd for 50k miles, despite some warranty work that I wouldn’t have expected from a true quality build (seat fans, exhaust manifolds, sideboard motors, battery/electrical/e-torque... glad I had the 7 yr warranty!). I plan to consider the Ramcharger when it comes out (in yr 6 of my warranty, so I’m not rushing to be first) - provided STLA gets back to the business of building trucks instead of arguing with suppliers, and unions, and the neighbors deaf cat. Build a quality product, reduce the useless bells & whistles (hands-free driving, front passenger vid screen come to mind) and I’ll be there with my checkbook. But I guarantee I won’t spend that kind of money with a company that seems to have its focus on everything BUT what they’re in business to do.

I had to rent an HD truck to move an Rv today (too much tongue wt for my 1500) and the Silverado they gave me is a torture device to drive. It’ll be a week before my kidneys are back in their proper place! Last time I drove an F-250, I couldn't move normally for a day (And it was a high trim level) - so Ram is still my choice for a truck to tow/lay down some travel miles…BUT ONLY if STLA has/gets it’s (expletive) together!

At 63, retired and no debt, I’m sure I’m nowhere on marketing’s target list…and I don’t care because I’d be the first to vote for all marketers to be shot into space to a non-existent planet (followed closely by ‘influencers’). But there’s a large number of us out here that have the bucks and buy based on a product being of quality and meeting our needs. We read the manuals and take care of our ‘toys’. Nothing in a glossy brochure, tv ad, or media blitz is going to persuade me/us to waste our hard earned $ on a crappy product. So secure your supply lines, stop jousting with the unions, tell your CEO he’s not a deity’s gift to the automotive world, and build a quality product at a fair price that we want to buy.
