Hi all,

I see people ordering 2021 models, and I am aware of a couple of changes such as the new HUD option, but has anyone found An official, comprehensive guide to the changes?

During modem year transitions, car companies often add or remove certain options, or shuffle them between different trim levels. So it would suck to order a 1500 and then learn that a feature you assumed would be on your truck isn’t there.
Has anyone found an official brochure/ordering guide/change log that runs down all the differences between the 2020 and 2021 Ram?

I’d love to know that myself, being one of the folks that ordered a 2021. My big question is whether or not it is coming with UConnect 5. Some folks are saying it isn’t but everything I have read seems to point to it having it. Mainly the new technology group. Since the HUD is powered by the UConnect system I can’t fathom FCA updating UConnect 4 to power the Heads up display and then have to completely change the code to work with the android based UConnect 5. That would be just plain stupid. Especially since the 2021 Durango and Pacifica are both confirmed to have UConnect 5

Nothing official as of yet. I’d have to assume we’re getting close though (hopefully).

As for UConnect 5 I really think we would have heard by now if it was going to be available on the 2021s. I feel 2022 is a more-likely scenario. Also, 2022 will be about 4 years since the release of the DT, so perhaps it’ll be getting a minor refresh in 2022 (nothing officially announced), which could coincide with the UConnect 5 release in the Rams. Also the Heavy Duty redesign (moving to the same cab/body as the 1500s) will be happening in 2022. Another reason to hold off on the 1500s until they can release it in the entire lineup.
