Still no action on my truck that ws ordered on 9/18

and I received my vin# on 9/21. Since then, I have called Ram about every 2 weeks and this morning it was disappointing again.
Here was her respond to me trying to nail down some answers....... ( I do apologize Paul. Some of our Ram trucks are taking longer than normal. If your order hasn't moved by this Friday we can see if we can look into this for you as we have to allow 45 days from ordering the vehicle before we can do anything as it could move to D1 at any time ).

So, I guess more will be revealed on Friday....

I checked BOTS. You're still in D? That's crazy. I was in D1 within 7 days. I was told by dealer that truck will be shipped by 11/2. Contacted RAM Chat this morning and they said it's being built and is planned to ship 11/3. I'm skeptical since it's still in D1.

Yep this is normal for them to wait 45 days. This happened to alot of us. They can escalate it after 45days but honestly "escalating" really does nothing. Been there done this as many others have too.

FYI if it was me I would be blowing up my dealerships phone and also, Ram online chat/phone # lighting a fire under everyones butt

Its the two tone paint thats causing the wait as it is on hold... so was mine truck they won't tell you anything until you ask... call you dealer they can either change to mono or you wait until they resolved the issue which is who knows when...

Well this makes me feel better I guess. Downloaded BOTS this morning and searched through build, KZ status and delivered. Mine was ordered 9/17, built 10/8 and has been sitting in the yard since 10/22. I've seen orders made after mine being delivered already but a few who ordered before me who are still waiting. Mine doesn't have to ride the train to get here either. Frustrating...

When I went to order my rebel, red/black was not available, I think red wasn't either.

I can only wonder what the actual backlogs are now?

So I'm looking at this chart as a general trend line. I'm wondering if the factories are recovering from a busy august?
It's not the same year true, but if the dips and spikes are roughly the same for years, I wonder.

There are a few other guys on here who ran into the same issue apparently it’s got something to do with the paint supplier maybe they can’t get the brown at the moment. Check with your dealer i bet its because of the two tone...

I was unable to choose Rugged Brown on my order. Dealer said it didnt even show it as an option.

My truck was ordered at the end of July and just delivered yesterday. You're only at the 6 week mark, be patient.

It is what it is. You just have to be patient. As far as I'm concerned, with the number and variety of problems that some people are having with some of them, let them take their time and don't rush them. Some things you just can't control. This is just one of those things where you assume when you order that it's going to take the full 6-8 weeks and if it's any sooner it's gravy.

I’m actually in the same boat as you! I ordered mine 9/18 as well and I still don’t even have a freaking VIN! I was told by the dealer a day or two ago that the eTorque with the V8 has a delay and I’ve read elsewhere that the RamBox is also causing delays and I have both lol. I was offered to remove the eTorque and place my order again but I’m just gonna wait it out. I called RAM and created a case yesterday and hopefully that’ll get stuff moving but we will see. I currently have a sweet truck already (2014 Tundra Platinum) so it’s not as bad to deal with but I would like my new RAM a lot sooner than what it’s looking like now.

I ordered mine through Heggs Auto in Mesa. Where in AZ did you order from?
