Step controls u-connect 4.5

Ok I have factory deployable steps the icon in u-connect only allows to either deploy or retract steps. My question is say icy build up on roads and you want to turn them off till after the icy build up is gone ..(my hope here is the only dumb question is the one you don't ask applies lol)

Are you asking if you can not deploy them ? My u-connect four will allow you to turn the steps off so they don't come out when you open the doors, I don't know if the u-connect five is the same way or not.

Yes ! All my button in u-connect does is either deploy or retract.id like to turn them off in icy conditions for obvious reasons...

If you go to about 21.32 it shows all the stuff you can turn on and off but this is in u-connect 4 the 12" hope it helps.
