19 1500 Bighorn, 5.7, 4x4, Max Towing Package, LED Headlights and Tail lights
I have experienced two recent instances with varying symptoms. Both have been in the morning, one after dropping my daughter at the bus stop, the other was turning around in my yard to take her to the bus stop.
The first instance, I was turning back into my road and the steering felt funny then a message popped up saying "cannot shift to park while moving" or something along those lines. I had not touched the shifter. I came to a full stop and put it in park, it then said something about parking brake being unavailable. I turned it off and back on and continued on.
The second instance, I was doing a three point turn, turning to the left, and the steering wheel abruptly stopped turning and forced itself back to the right. The battery light lit up and another yellow warning light but I cannot recall what it meant.
Possibly related? I had a cracked LED tail light that kept coming up as "right turn light out". I replaced the unit and for awhile still kept getting that message. It hasn't popped up for a couple of weeks now.
Does anyone else have issues like these?
Hopefully that's enough information. Overall I love this truck. Despite needing to get the rear window replaced AGAIN. (Is there going to be a permanent fix for that?)
